Kipoi Beach

Forget the crowded, organized tourist beaches before heading to Kipoi beach.

A visit to the largest and most remote beach of Samothrace, located at the southeastern tip of the island away from settlements, offers a unique experience of contact with nature. The almost lunar landscape, the beach is all covered with black pebbles as a result of volcanic activity, radiates a wild beauty and offers moments of absolute peace and relaxation to its visitors. Mountains and steep cliffs surround the beach, while in front of it spreads the crystal clear, deep blue waters of the Thracian Sea (North Aegean Sea), an ideal environment for diving and underwater swimming. The island of Imvros as well as the Turkish coast can be seen over the horizon.

The beach is easily accessible via the main roadway.
